Position will assist the Marketing Manager ensuring the department meets all forecasted goals and projects by properly and professionally marketing the organization within the department’s budget.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
• Graphic Design o Catalogs o Sales Flyers o Direct mail pieces o Trade publications o Email promotions o Trade Show graphics • Catalog layout and production for all product lines and groups as outlined in marketing plan • BFG Expos o Assists with arranging all logistics for travel, accommodations, meeting arrangements, meals, etc. o Writes proposals, requests, invoices and collects sponsorship funds o Maintains project plan and outlined budget o Assists with Booth designs and layout • Coordinates marketing plans for all business segments within the company • Web design and maintenance • Miscellaneous duties include; o Working with Marketing Department to utilize all advertising and promotional dollars available, including arrangement for proposal, request, invoicing and collection of all promotional monies o Processing invoices related to marketing o Promotional item ordering o Assisting in any marketing projects outlined by the Marketing Manager
Required Skills and Experience
Education, credentials and experience:
• College marketing degree preferred • 1-3+ years graphics experience • Industry experience preferred • Demonstration of success in role
Knowledge, skills, and abilities required:
• Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud including but not limited to: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Bridge • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Experience in Social Media Marketing and plan development • The ability and desire to problem solve both in day to day tasks and unique situations • Excellent organizational skills • Effective time manager • Good communication skills both written and verbal • Understands company sales philosophy for related decision making • Works unsupervised, self-motivated, critical thinker, displays initiative and insight • Attention to detail • Proofing skills • Able to work and relate well with co-workers, vendors and sale force • Mature positive attitude • Retain Confidentiality • Event planning experience
