BFG Supply Co. an industry leader serving the greenhouse, nursery and lawn and garden industries is looking to add seasonal 2nd Shift, experienced Warehouse Associates. Warehouse processes including receiving, order picking, stock rotation and more for our our Cheswick, PA location. NEW Team members eligible to receive a $1,000.00 one time sign-on bonus paid after successful 10- week completion of employment.

Previous experience in a warehouse environment or with RF equipment is required. Background check and drug screen will be conducted on prospective candidates. Must be able to work 2nd shift from 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm.

• Safely and accurately loading freight
• Safely and accurately unloading freight
• Staging and storing product in proper location
• Inspecting inbound shipments for accurate orders and damaged good; noting such on BOL
• Assist in managing space in warehouse
• Performing cycle counts if needed
• Assist in maintaining a clean warehouse as needed
• Pulling product and loading vehicles for customer pick ups
• Processing UPS/Fedex and common carrier shipments
• Following department policies and procedures to maintain standards

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven warehouse experience
• Forklift certification preferred
• Hazmat training provided
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on occasion
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work extended hours and some Saturdays during busy season (January through July)

Qualifications:

• High school or equivalent
• US work authorization
• Warehouse distribution: 2 years
• English (Preferred)
• Forklift Certification (Preferred)
