BFG Supply Co. an industry leader serving the greenhouse, nursery and lawn and garden industries is looking to add Seasonal Warehouse Associates. Warehouse processes including receiving, order picking, stock rotation and more for our our Cheswick, PA location.

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing all functions within our automated warehouse, adheres strictly to set processes and procedures. NEW Team members eligible to receive a $1,000.00 one time sign-on bonus paid after successful 10- week completion of employment.

Previous experience in a warehouse environment or with RF equipment is required. Background check and drug screen will be conducted on prospective candidates.

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for ensuring accurate loading and unloading of shipments and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.

Essential Job Functions:

• Safely and accurately load outbound freight.
• Safely and accurately unload inbound freight.
• Stage and store product in proper location.
• Inspect inbound shipments for damaged goods and accurate orders – indicate damaged goods on BOL.
• Manage space in warehouse.
• Perform cycle counts if needed.
• Assist in maintain a clean warehouse as needed.
• Pull product and load trucks for customers.
• Process UPS/FEDEX and common carrier shipments.
• Follow department policies and procedures to maintain department standards
• Complete other assignments as assigned by the Manager.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proven warehouse experience.
• Active/current Forklift certification preferred.
• HAZMAT training provided
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on occasion
• Strong customer service skills
• High School diploma or GED Required

• Flexible schedule to work extended hours or to flex to evening shift and Saturdays between January and July (busy season)
