Summary:

BFG Supply is a rapidly growing, private equity owned distribution company focused on the Green Industry that is achieving its growth goals through both organic growth and acquisitions. We are looking for a committed Full-time Warehouse Associate to join our team. The New Team members receive a $1, 000 sign-on bonus paid after 10 weeks and a $18 - $21 hourly pay rate with an opportunity for advancement. The hourly pay rate will commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and accurately loading freight
• Safely and accurately unloading freight
• Staging and storing product in proper location Inspect inbound shipments for accurate orders and damaged good; noting such on BOL
• Assist in managing space in warehouse
• Performing cycle counts if needed
• Assist in maintaining a clean warehouse as needed Pulling product and loading vehicles for customer pick ups
• Processing UPS/Fedex and common carrier shipments
• Following department policies and procedures to maintain standards

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven warehouse experience
• Forklift certification preferred
• Order Picker experience preferred
• RF Scanner Experience
• Hazmat training provided
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on occasion
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work extended hours and some Saturdays during busy season (January through July)

Environmental Factors:

• Working in a warehouse environment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
